• Freshman Applicants

You should apply to ROU as a freshman if you are currently in secondary school or have graduated from secondary school but have not yet attended college.

There really is no typical ROU student in terms of background, beliefs, or interests. ROU has a very diverse student body. However, that is not to say that ROU is for everybody. The most successful ROU students have a positive attitude toward learning, the desire to get involved in discovery learning, and a significant interest in developing professional potential.

  • International

Royal Open University (ROU) attracts students from every corner of the world. The variety of backgrounds and perspectives represented in the ROU community enriches the living and learning experience for all.  As students interact on team-based projects, online communities and in day-to-day activities, they become enriched and better prepared for the opportunities and challenges of global interdependence.
